Baby Day

Well...it was another day at the parents so had about 8 kids altogether in the house (out of the 12 grandchildren).

Had our gathering at my parents tonight....which means Maghrib & Isya' jemaah prayers plus dinner.

The rest of my siblings came too...we do this at least once a week. And all our kids will be together...imagine 13 of the grandchildren in one place...some screaming, others playing school, while the little babies just sleep.

And now that he's 10 years old, he has been tasked to be the 'bilal' everytime we have our jemaah prayers at my parents

My niece & nephew came over to visit last Sunday....and I just had to take some shots of them. I like to switch between sharp images and blurred ones.

Dance Revolution

Nabilah is not a game freak like her other siblings but she likes only this particular game on the PS2 - the Dance Dance Revolution.
(and she doesn't like her picture taken too often...so I had to sneak taking these pics)

Firstly, my apologies for not updating daily as I would like to. I have been pretty much "under the weather"...the flu virus this time is a real nasty one!

Here are pics of Nadya...the TV was on and the "doa penutup" was being televised just before the end of transmission for the day. She immediately took out her 2 hands and began to "doa" too!

I can safely say that Nadya has now fully recovered from her flu. She had lost all appetite to eat and drink even though her temperature has already returned back to normal. The total duration of her flu from the 1st day she was down with the fever was about 3 weeks. She has lost quite a bit of weight and her chubby cheeks went as well.

But now, thank goodness, her appetite is now back and she is always asking for something to eat. So here she is back to her normal self and her cheeks are slowly coming back! hee!

Oh...and she loves her T-shirt that she's wearing as well cos it's got a pic of a cat. DH got it for her during his short trip to Kuching. Everytime she looks down at her T-shirt, she'll say "Ngiaow"

My scrapping tools

Cute buttons & embellies

Everytime I scrap I must have at least my craft knife and my Honey Bee scissors. The Honey Bee scissors is wonderful to work with especially cutting glue dots, foam dots or the Tacky Tape ~ as it's non-stick!

And these were what I managed to get hold of during my Bangkok trip...more assorted buttons and lovely wooden embellies for my scrapping stash.

My view of the stage

Last night, DH & I attended a birthday event for DH's granduncle who just turned 90!
It was held at the Empire Theatre and we were entertained to dancers from the Chung Hwa Middle School, a magician, a spectacular show by the Shanghai Acrobatic Troupe and a dance by the granchildren of the birthday man....oh! and also a fireworks display!

Sat at the very top row as we were late and our assigned seats were taken. So the pictures were hopelessly blur. But nevertheless, this moment was recorded.

Jim Thompson scarves are currently my favourite scarves for the moment. Got myself a few when I was in Bangkok.

Another favourite is LeSportSac due to an influence from lil sis. Especially love the tokiDoki designer range though it won't be my ideal wear, so I got it for Nabilah instead. Gives me a reason to buy the tokidoki! Hee!

DH just received his graduation certificate in a long ceremony (about 6-7 hours long). The Thai princess was presenting degree certificates to about 3000 over students from this university. Some have completed their studies the year before. So these are not necessarily students who have just completed their course.
Family members were not allowed into the ceremony hall and the ceremony was held at BITEC, Bangna just outside the main city of Bangkok.

At last the years of hard effort has paid off for DH...conference presentations, writing for a journal submission, lots of defence examinations, and many times burning the midnight oil.

Brought Nadya to the nearest hospital on 17th February when her temperature still persisted. These are the bags that contained her medication.
Her previous medication was totally scrapped and the doctor there prescribed her new medication. Her condition has improved since then and now she's left with a bad cough. But at least, her fever has gone although I still constantly monitor her body temperature.

Today was the 5th day since Nadya caught the fever. It was a last minute decision to bring her along to Bangkok. And I am thankful that we've decided to bring her. This is her favourite toy of the moment ~ her Meow. And she brings it wherever she goes. Here's a pic of her Meow resting while Nadya's asleep in the hotel room in Bangkok.

Inspired by many blogs and again by my dear friend, Wati (yes babe! you are still an inspiration to me!)
....and after much thought, I have decide to commit myself in capturing a moment a day through my lens.

I realised that, for me, certain days pass by without it being captured....when in fact, these accumulates into history, my past...my kids' heritage.

So do come and drop by regularly as I enter my daily journey of pics and moments that might come unnoticed and forgotten.
